The old school guys should stick around. Al still looks out for them. Based on David being left out of the 3 fight Canelo deal he needs to leave. Boots shouldn't sign based on how the new school guys aren't as coveted & looked after as the old school guys. Stanionis needs to run. GAR needs to leave. Anyone young with a potential big future needs to leave or not sign up at this point.

I think Eddie's connection to Turki makes him the best move for a lot of guys rn. Eddie is willing to put guys into competitive fights & will keep you active & if Turki likes you I think a guy like David B or Boots could fight in Riyadh for waaaaaaay more money then anyone is giving them + make the biggest fights for them. PBC keeps putting a square peg in a round hole with how they do sh^t & its getting old they keep being slow to keep guys active & in big fights more often then they do.

The first Amazon PPV being a fight no one mentioned is a bad sign. Shoulda had Tank open this deal at a minimum to make the biggest splash instead of an Australian guy vs a guy whos fought 2x in 5yrs or whatever.

I hope PBC Tanks (pun intended). Their philosophy in boxing has made boxing even worse than it was before which was the bottom. If this sport is to survive it needs to make great fights cause younger people are not interested interested in seeing a big name with a small name. They want to see popular names with other popular names fight. It’s the YouTube/influencer generation.

Will fighters under the PBC banner start exploring alternative options?
The PBC? Someone is not paying attention. The Saudi's are putting on the best cards in boxing today.

the whole strategy was to lure big name boxers over to pbc and hold a pseudo-monopoly. pbc always wanted to control everything and thats why their guys rarely fought outside pbc even if offered great fights. this strategy has obviously failed with dazn being a strong rival and now with the saudis giving away money its even worse. they also seem to have/had a severe lack of fight dates so their fighters stagnated. guys were only fighting once a year/once every 2 years etc...because haymon didnt want to pay them those big purses he promised so he just shelved them. a guy like thurman getting the tszyu fight is laughable but maybe thats just haymon paying off his debt to thurman

I dont even hate PBC but damn...it's not looking good.

Rick Glaser said their first ppv with amazon might be canceled.

apparently they went from 44 events in 2016 to just 16 last year(and scheduled for even less this year) looks like it might be over for them.

PBC fighters like it the way it is on their side of the street. They're permitted to avoid fights they don't like. Can take vacation as long as they want and go back anytime they want. Can hide behind PBC when a non-PBC guy calls out their names. Clearly, the sense of urgency is not even there. Look at Ennis, who is not even a PBC fighter. Yet he's fond of hanging around the PBC area even when Showtime has exited boxing. The PBC culture is so attractive to these folks.
