Fury win the fight. But the real winner is Francis and he's baddest man on planet. He had fury on the floor. If it was mma, Francis just ground and pound fury or choke himLast edited by hugh grant; 11-01-2023, 07:23 PM.

Fury will never meet a bigger stronger mauling athlete that can man handle Fury who bounced off Ngannou.
Usyk is a mover that avoids clinches & Fury still has a long fast jab.
Ngannou won the fans & the fight, Fury i think was shocked fighting a human wall won the boxing match, Usyk is a completely different fight.

I mean, you can’t win two rounds, albeit score a knockdown and expect to win a fight. The majority decision was generous to say the least.Last edited by N/A; 11-02-2023, 02:31 AM.

Usyk as Tyson said, will be an easier prospect of at least knowing what to expect.
This should have been nothing more than an exhibition. Fury gave away his advantages . Even this being a 10 round fight worked against him in the end as I don't believe Nngannou had another 6 minutes in him.

I think there were enough close rounds where Fury did more work and Ngannou did better work. Comes down to what you like sometimes. That's boxing.
I didn't score the fight round by round as I didn't care enough about it (or really think I'd need to) but there were certainly more than 2 rounds that could have gone Ngannou's way.
Personally I felt Fury probably edged enough rounds overall, though without scoring round by round I can't really be definitive. Couldn't have been mad about it going either way - which tells a story in itself.

That's why I'm confident that he didn't get into the kind of shape he was a few years back.
This fight and Wilder 3... that's a fighter on the decline. Hard to judge against Chisora and Whyte.
