I usually in general have a cut off point for fighter's retaining theyre prime upto 36. Fury, a man of his size & build is obviously not the same any more at 35.

Plus you don't try & wrestle & maul with the former ufc heavyweight champ with a full on Conan life story & phisique in a boxing match, Fury needed to be the Fury that bored us to death against Klitschko. He bounced off Ngannou & i think that's affected him, the smell of his own bullshido is suddenly not so sweet.

I see many guys in denial here. Fury is just not that good and for me, he looked just the same as in Whyte fight and in Wilder 3 fight.

He looked the same as in Wallin fight, to be honest.

Fury was the best in Klitschko fight, but guys that was 8 years ago and in Wilder 2 fight, which was nearly 4 years ago.

Ok, I will believe that Fury is the best if/when he starts to fight top guys again and beats Usyk and Zhang.

But honestly, Sanchez very likely beats him now.

He didn't know that Ngannou was that good. Fury is a great heavyweight, best since Lennox Lewis.

But he's not as great as Lewis, and as quite a few greats of past era's. Nothing wrong with that, he's still got great skill for such a big guy.

Ngannou and his camp clearly didn't show their tricks before the fight in those videos. They pulled the wool cleverly, letting people think he didn't know basic boxing, but he knows more than that.

He did underestimate Ngannou, which is clear to see. But why must people get so worked up over the obvious? He can't openly admit he didn't take the fight seriously, can he? All that money, all those big backers, TV people banking on him to put on a show, and he half-assed it and nearly came unstuck. What do you expect him to say? It is also a mental game. Why corroborate information when you can allow an element of doubt to hang? Look at all the Usyk bandwagoners salivating over Fury's poor showing. Let them think that is Fury after a 12-week camp. Playing mind games is easy for The Gypsy King when he's gonna trigger an army of boxing Karens either way.

I wouldn't even say Fury struggled that bad. Fury hit him with his biggest shots, but Fury being a weak puncher and Francis having a decent chin made a difference.

Fury has always lacked power which is why his KOs always come from progressive power shots and never from one blow. It also didn't help that everything Fury did was very slow. Someone with more pop and quick punches will KO Francis quickly. AJ and Andy would get it done, unless Francis actually has an amazing chin. Wilder is 50/50 because Wilder only has his right hand.
