No, my argument is that Fury was playing ****** games as he always does, and now Usyk is rightly making fun of him using his own words. The fight isn't going to happen on the 23rd, if it happens at all. Fury might implode it at the final moment pissing about ring size. He's going to try to push for a minimum size ring. I'm 90% sure he's going to try to make an issue about where Usyk wears his shorts, and probably about hand wraps too.

There's a big difference also that you KEEP ignoring. Fury was drawing a hard line. Usyk is just asking for documented proof of injury. Why you think that's unreasonable when Fury has a long history of lying AND says he's uninjured is just more proof of your bias. You're literally making up crap about refusing to budge on a date in a thread with the title specifically stating the requirements to move the date. Why are you incapable of seeing the difference between "prove your injury if you want to move the date" and "if you don't fight me on this specific date I'll sue you"???

Fury isn't injured and hasn't claimed to be. He's just had an incredibly hard fight where he got dropped, hurt multiple times and beat up at times thus won't be ready for the 23rd.

I am not in the camp about letting "the fight die instead". No way. Usyk has been ADAMANT that he wants all the belts. No way shape or form will he duck Fury. As opposed to Fury coming up with his usual excuses and ducking him. I can post in here a dozen videos of Usyk and his team demanding that the fight happen on the 23rd. If Fury refuses to honor the contract that he signed, what are they supposed to do, besides sue, which is what Fury threatened if Usyk didn't make that date?

As I have said above, I believe the fight will be moved into the 1st qtr of 2024.

Here's a bit more detail...

Apparently he's signed a 200 million pound contract for it to happen Dec 23 and the Saudis planned a 6 month sports festival starting with Fury v Ngannou, and revolving around this fight. Apparently the date can only be postponed from serious injury. He's also not training. He's gone back to the UK for family time, and doesn't want to be bothered with boxing until they sort it out.

So who's fault is it going to be if the fight never happens? Will be interesting to see how this plays out. Sounds like Frank Warren wants to play "F about and find out" games with the Saudis...

I've just had a re think of this situation.

Kovalov fought Canelo 9 weeks after a brutal fight.
Helenius fought Joshua ONE WEEK after a ko win.

Poor Fury had a "tough fight" with a novice boxer, got a black eye in the process, and is CONTRACTUALLY OBLIGATED to fight on 23 Dec but NOOOOO he won't fight and his nauseating supporters are enabling him and making every excuse in the book to let him out of this bout.

Screw him. Sue his ass into oblivion, Usyk!

I don't see anything that would prevent Fury from showing up at the gym, business as usual. That it may take longer than 12/23 to get in shape is the only hold up I'm seeing and that's not a legitimate reason.

He just fought. How can you be out of shape?

No you're making excuses for Usyk being obviously unreasonable. You can pretend that you wouldn't be saying the exact opposite if it was Fury but it's very obvious that you would be.

If you actually want this fight to happen you wouldn't be ok with this fight doing over a date.
