Fury is on video saying he has no injuries, just some bruising.

You are actually telling me if this fight falls through because of the date it’s not Usyk’s fault?
It's absolutely a double standard. Did Usyk's team force Fury to take the Ngannou fight? Did Usyk's team force Fury to fail to take the fight seriously and show up out of shape and disgrace himself? This is 10000% about Fury having lost serious face and not wanting to get in the ring with Usyk. Who's the one who said "he's got to fight Dec 23rd, he's got no choice."? That goes both ways. You want to pretend Usyk's team gave Fury that script and forced him to say it at gunpoint? Fury brought it all on himself. All his BS is coming back to roost.

Hopefully Fury doesn’t go on another bender… and that’s coming from a place of genuine concern. Idle hands are the devils playthings. Keeping the fight date will ensure he stays on track and the boxing public will get what they want.

That is not Usyk's problem or fault, no one made Fury make a fool of himself. I hope Usyk's team gives him no way out other than retiring like Fury did to duck Wlad in their scheduled rematch.

Fury looked that bad that that fight could use a bit of time to build up the hype again.

Nobody wants to see a meek, humbled Tyson Fury head into a match like this.

Neutral fans anyway. It would be s.hit because the fight itself will be dreadful.

It’s by definition not a double standard.

What’s a double standard is you criticising Fury for that narrative (rightfully so) and then being totally ok with Usyk doing the same thing and thus causing the fight to fall through, that is the epitome of a double standard.

If Fury had pulled that nonsense that it’s 23rd or no fight and Usyk wasn’t ready you and everyone else would be saying it’s his fault and you’d be right.

Yet Usyk is here trying to pull the same nonsense and somehow that’s now Fury’s fault.

Right so you’d rather the fight not happen due to date that could very easily be pushed back a month and make literally no difference or issue.

                Weird stance but ok.

Yes, its called the consequences of your actions meeting you on your doorstep why should Fury be immune to that. He should honor what he agreed to and beat up what he called the little middle weight since he is so sure of himself.

                    Agreed.

Considering that in boxing at this level off the top of my head there is the square root of f.uck all to look forward to in the near future - a month is hardly gonna make a difference to get an undisputed heavyweight champion.

The fights happening. We all know its happening. It is Saudi money and when have they failed?

Why all the drama over moving it forward a month? The 2 month time between fights was/is crazy anyway.
It should always be 3-4 months minimum unless it's really early in a fighter's career. Just my 37 cents worth, that's all.
