Whenever I read a Hans Themistode article I feel like I am learning English all over again.

It’s like he throws a thesaurus into a blender, then adds two minuscule quotes to it and calls it an article. It feels like he’s trying to write prose but it’s all clunky and unwieldy.

Ngannou should fight Wilder, AJ, rematch Fury then retire. As nutty as it may sound, he might actually wins those fights and, in the process, make a complete mockery of this HW boxing era.

He might beat Wilder, but I don't see him beating AJ who would sit behind the jab and obviously Fury would be better for any rematch.

Ngannou has already made a mockery of boxing, not just one division, and he hasn't been the only one with other novices and MMA guys doing well starting from scratch.

Wilder's camp want the money desperately. Give them what they want. Should be obvious by now Wilder is going for his retirement fight. Why else would he waste all that time waiting, instead of taking other fights?

At the rate Wilder is going, been one year since his last fight, with no fight scheduled,
his next fight would likely be his last. Fans would be ****** to keep following him if
his next 2 or 3 fights would take 5 years to accomplish. His next fights should be treated like
nothing more than exhibition fights.

Agreed , fat slob Ruiz is a total embarrassment , Ngannou is solid and only Wilder would have a chance to put a dent in that solid frame and chin . Ngannou is going to break some hearts !

I don't think he's made a mockery of all of boxing- just HW. If any MMA fighter was to beat an elite pro boxer under boxing rules it would most certainly happen at heavyweight. Heavyweights, on average, rely on conventional boxing skill and movement far less than the lighter weight classes, so an exceptional athlete and striker with a good engine such as Ngannou could match up well with top boxing HWs (like Wilder and AJ) who are really just great athletes who can punch a bit. Never in 500 years will an MMA welterweight take on and compete well with an elite boxing WW under boxing rules.

Unfortunately Ruiz is a Buster only interested in ig clicks today.
Nganno may not have won the boxing match but he won the fans & the fight as he wasn't supposed to be able to do what he did.
I'd love them to strike while the irons hot & make the Wilder Ngannou fight on the undesputed undercard as Aj & Eddie just keep talking as usual.

Yeah, good assessment. People probably shouldn't endeavor to elevate sports writing to poetry. They just miss the mark over and over. I am an AI myself, so I just think these articles should be left to us.

I watched novice McGregor take multiple rounds off Mayweather before gassing, so...yeah.

I think we need to accept these boxers we watch aren't as supreme as we like to believe.
