Fury is just a side note in HW. A win over a way past it Wlad and a failure to honor the return clause, and competitive fights against Wilder who himself never beat a man who beat a top 20 fighter.

I've been a Fury fan since the very beginning and I don't even recognise the man anymore.
And John calling Sugarhill a traitor for telling the truth about Tyson's bogus April training camp and publicly calling for Tyson to sack him, then hanging around camp like a bad smell while Sugar was trying to get Tyson ready for Ngannou wasn't exactly conducive to getting Tyson into the right mental state to perform well against anybody.

Then he did the same thing with Ben Davison, who was trying to rebuild the old Tyson Fury from the wreckage of his 2 year booze and coke binge, and probably would have succeeded if he hadn't been undermined by John and his ... " My son doesn't need to worry about being in shape and fancy boxing" bullshit.

It's not about being toned - he'll never be that under his swathes of loose skin. But he looked weak and soft under that flubber, as opposed to being big and strong. And yes, Wilder 2 is the best example of that - a big strong man, even if he didn't exactly look beach ready.
I'll still give credit to Ngannou. He was much faster than I thought he would be and his tactic (I assume it was) of not giving up anything to Fury's feints looked like it perplexed Fury. Ngannou just wouldn't go where Fury wanted to send him. I don't think I've seen anyone do that in recent years.
But it's still all about Fury. If he's anything at all then he beats Ngannou, just as the current top 10 probably would. He let himself down massively last night and there's only so long you can be undisciplined out of the ring before it catches up with you.
You can understand why Usyk wants him in the ring ASAP. If it somehow happens on Dec 23rd then Usyk should be favourite. But then Fury has a habit of proving people wrong.
What other Super Heavyweights has he bulled forward against and dominated? None.
Fury whenever he has been inside the ring with another Super Heavyweight or fighter who he does not outweigh by 40+ pounds, he has fought them on the back foot 'Or used a more measured defensive style'.
Kiltschko, Whyte, Chisora twice 'Tyson Fury fought all of those fighters pretty much on the back foot'.
Fury tried to move forward vs Wallin and was busted up real good, and the same thing happened in his first fight vs Chisora.
Pushing around Deontay Wilder in their second fight, was really not that impressive for me 'One of Wilder's worst attributes is his brute strength. Wilder's brute strength and his technical boxing abilities are his two worst attributes as a fighter'.
If Fury was to ever fight Anthony Joshua, Fury would most likely fight Joshua with a very measured approach 'I don't think he would just decided to bull forward. Anthony Joshua is 250 pound's solid these days, is a all around superior athlete to Fury and has more punching power'.
Note: Stylistically, I have always believed that Fury is a easier fight for Joshua to prepared for than Deontay Wilder 'I definitely don't think Joshua watched last nights fight, and sat there petrified of Fury's abilities' etc.
Ngannou fought a basic fight, he was disciplined and sensible with his work. If Tyson Fury was this monster fighter, with a by far more greater skill set than all other Heavyweights. Then even if his conditioning was not at it's best 'Fury should of been good enough to make the fight easier for himself'.
Fury was decked and busted up, I think his hardcore fans need to understand 'That Fury's actual fight abilities are nowhere near as great as the media and they themselves have always claimed them to be'.
Floyd Mayweather Junior by the time he fought Manny Pacquaio, I don't think Mayweather was in top form 'Mayeather Junior in that fight, had to rely heavily on his skill set and greater spatial abilities as a fighter to 1: Make the fight easier for himself vs Pacquiao. 2: To win rounds vs Pacquiao 'This is something people overlook with Mayweather, that fight vs Pacquaio was one of his best performances. Not because it was a great fight, but because I think Mayweather was there for the taking and Pacquaio for me should of just thrown caution to the wind'.
I honestly don't think Fury overlooked Ngannou. What I believe occurred last night was a the accumulation of YEARS, yes you hear that right YEARS of not fighting at a genuine high level skill for skill 'Tyson Fury has two mega wins on his resume. But outside of those wins, I don't rate Fury as a experienced fighter at World and Elite level'.
Most of Fury's experience is at fighting domestic to high end European level fights.
Tyson Fury last night fought a basic, very strong, great athlete in Francis Ngannou 'Ngannou fought a basic fight, and Fury still could not really exploit him' But if he was operating at the level which his hardcore fans claim he is at? Fury should of really been able to exploit Ngannou and made the fight much more easier'.
A retired Floyd Mayweather Junior in comparison, was able to exploit Mcgregor 'Even though Mcgregor was at his absolute peak as a athlete' etc.

I've now changed my prediction, Usyk will absolutely destroy him on last night's performance, it won't even be competitive.
All of Fury's antics have finally caught up with him, he gave boxing a real black eye last night, I'm so disappointed.

I think usyk beats fury. Usy k been.living the boxers life. I'm sure fury trains to keep depression at bay, but I get feeling fury cutting corners, or not as smart now, just power orientated
