Buster was a legit contender who earned his shot, Tyson had ran through most everyone in the division.
It’s off subject but Buster could fight his ass off, he was a second generation fighter, was big, strong and agile, with an excellent jab

He just wasn’t in it mentally at times, but he was a very good fighter

Yeah think he blew up past 300 pounds after the Tyson win and then got destroyed by holyfield. Not the first we seen of that. Fury himself, Tyson himself, Ruiz after the AJ win ect, Happens a lot in boxing, guys cant handle the fame and attention.

Joyce had to fought him twice and got bashed twice. 2nd time in a KO of the year that will live forever in highlight reeels
In hindsight, a bad choice to cherrypick a guy with a nickname "Big ****"

Exactly. Buster was a great fighter. Just lazy.

In recent memory, Warrington against Lara. Khan against Prescott maybe. Broner against Maidana.

Morrison-Bentt is probably the worst one though considering they had the Lewis unification agreed and an alleged $8m payday. Never regained a world title and when he ended up fighting Lewis it was a non-title bout and he probably wouldn't have seen a third of what he'd signed for in 1993.

Yeah I remember Morrison vs Bentt quite vividly, and the look on Morrison’s face after he got dropped the first time, you knew he was out of it

But still he lost to a real boxer, with experience and real ring craft, not some guy making his pro debut just walking forward with his hands up

                It’s really quite amazing
                Definitely agree about Bivol
Something I yelled about from the day the fight was announced
I don’t think highly of Fury , so no surprise there
It was just a matter of time

He won the battle but lost the war, he got beat up and dropped on the way to the bank

This was supposed to be an easy money exhibition fight, along the exact same lines as Mayweather vs McGregor

I don’t think anyone associated with the Fury camp is at all pleased with the outcome of that fight

                    Fury was thoroughly embarrassed
