Comments Thread For: Usyk on Fury's Performance: Maybe Tyson Fury Didn't Take It Serious, I Don't Know

WBO, IBF, IBO, WBA heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk sat ringside on Saturday in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He nearly saw the biggest payday of his career go up in smoke, as WBC world champion Tyson Fury was nearly derailed by MMA veteran Francis Ngannou.

Worst excuse that can be made in boxing. He was making eight figures and didn't try? He looked like he tried but couldn't.

Fury definitely thought he was gonna steam roll Ngannou and so did alot of people but Ngannou was physically very strong and didnt allow fury to back him up and kept the fight center ring. Fury looked awful throwing wide shots not being able shorten them up coudnt find his timing because Ngannou unlike most MMA fighters when they have boxing matches used his feet pretty well aswell. But fury thought this was gonna be a legal bank robbery and then onto usyk but now everything's up in the air even tho he got the nod

What are the new odds the fight even happens? Fury looked absolute garbage.

There's too much money on the table for Fury to walk away.

Fury will either have a wake up call like he did when he almost lost and got a draw against Wilder or go on another coke binge and disappear from boxing for good.

Fury has been full of himself since he steamrolled Wilder in their second fight. Wilder, Whyte, and then Chisora. Fury's ego has only been fed and his laziness expanded by being given stiffs as opponents.

Even with his poor performance against Francis I still believe Fury will beat Usyk if they fight.
After Fury unofficially lost his first fight he came back better in the rematch and battered his opponent.
After a tough and close fight against Chisora he did the same.
              Same with Wilder.

I think we will see Fury at his best against Usyk and this will be the peak of their careers and abilities. There will be no excuses when the fight is over and the best fighter of this generation will be crowned.

The question is...is there still gonna be a lawsuit if Usyk-Fury fight doesn't happen in December as per Fury lol?

Well, Usyk is a tricky liar when it comes to body shots, but is not a mental midget like Eddie and AJ and he won't be spitting poison on Fury. He says the obvious - Fury was weirdly unprepared. But that's Fury's problem. Plus, Usyk can't say much, because there are plenty of fans that are dissatisfied with the ruling of Usyk-Dubois.

Theres no real excusing what happened. The possibility of it happening wouldnt have even been there in the first place if it wasnt for boxing for some reason having 20 ****ing high profile big money fights per year involving guys who arent boxers. I wish this would mean the end of this **** but I doubt it will.
