Worst excuse that can be made in boxing. He was making eight figures and didn't try? He looked like he tried but couldn't.

Preparations have nothing to do with how many figures you're making.

It depends on how much you rate yourself, your opposition, your judgment on the amount of time needed to prepare, how motivated you are, or even how distracted you are. Getting anyone of those wrong can set you up for disaster, not only in boxing but in anything in life.

Truth be told, started to think Fury would overwhelm Usyk in the last year in contradiction to my previous predictions.

Then I watched replays of Usyk’s fights with AJ and Fury’s fights with Wilder and thought, ‘nah’.

Expecting Usyk to pepper this guy all night and be too quick to get leant on.


Having said all of this, everyone’s getting too excited about last night: this is a man (Fury) who’s treated the whole thing since Wilder 2 like WWE. He’ll get serious again

Usyk knows, regardless of how Flubber performed vs Francis, he has to prepare himself to expect the ''best'' version of Flubber to show up (if they fight).

I can't think of any situation where Usyk has not been a good guy. He just doesn't seem to be a part of the evil boxing machine. Fury, on the other hand, has jerked fans around too much.
As much as it would be nice to see Fury (if nothing else because he is boxing right now and not some time in the past) be an undefeated ATG, I personally will root for Usyk all the way in this next fight!

Kronk Fury is crap. Great entertainment tho, and I donīt think this 35 yo fat version of Fury can do what the young Boar Balls Fury did so.. too late to go back now. At least do enough road work to survive 12 rds vs Usyk and not have a heart attack.
