This is why I like smaller rings. It forces the pure boxer to engage more than he's used to, and it generally creates a more entertaining fight. Hernandez forced Foster to engage, and Foster had to figure out how to handle the pressure or get drowned by it. He wasn't able to back-pedal too far without hitting the ropes, so then he was forced to improvise his offense and punch on the move.

Smaller rings should be made standard. It forces a better fight and if the pure boxer is good enough it doesn’t stop him from winning as he should.
