This is why I like smaller rings. It forces the pure boxer to engage more than he's used to, and it generally creates a more entertaining fight. Hernandez forced Foster to engage, and Foster had to figure out how to handle the pressure or get drowned by it. He wasn't able to back-pedal too far without hitting the ropes, so then he was forced to improvise his offense and punch on the move.

Foster listened. Took him a bit.

Tried to tell people, he’s dangerous when he wants to be. He just chooses to cruise too much.

official scores cards show that Foster would have lost on decision if they would have reached the final bell even with those two knockdowns.

That's why they call him shock

His opponents never know when the hard shots will be coming.

issue I have with Foster is he almost never comes underneath up the middle with the old skool upper cut to the solar plex or chin followed by the right hook and he doesn't throw many check hooks either, certain things he does he makes it hard on himself and it's frustrating to watch at times because he tends to miss a lot of punches because he's not throwing these type of shots more..but nevertheless I love the adjustments he made shortening up his punches and the way he dug deep tonight.

Rocky should have play it smart by keeping his guard up and box more on finals rounds ,mofo gets knocked down and he immediately gets up instead of using some of that 10 sec count. Too much of a warrior I guess lol. Anyhow, props to Foster great come from the back Win. A clash with Cordina could be next in line.

Foster needs to work on early activity and he has the inside skills, he just needs to use them in combination with less movement. He was quite boring for a number of rounds but he can change that. Both showed warrior hearts!

Cortina is fast, sharp, skilled, and hits hard. Forster vs Cortina is going to be a great fight!
