Its fun to say to make Fury look worse, but to be fair, Ngannou isnt really a complete novice, that MMA experience has to count for something. Is being some random boxer who beats like 20 taxi drivers and plumbers with a combined 50/50 win/loss record really more legit experience than fighting guys with the stand up level of Reem, JDS, Rozenstruik, Lewis, Gane, Stipe, Arlovski etc in MMA?

I wanna see AJ vs ngannou or AJ vs wilder. If he can win either of those fight sure I’ll say AJ is an elite level guy still top 3. Fury obviously 1. Didn’t train 2. Was going half pace probably at Al turkhis “suggestion”. It was over an hour for the show before the fight there was no way this fight was going to anything other than a decision

Tonight's fight says more about Tyson Fury's true form, than any other Top level Heavyweight.

Tyson Fury outside of his wins vs Kiltschko and Wilder has barely fought at World level 'And that type of behavior as a fighter and Champion, will at some point unearth itself' I believe potentially that is what has happened tonight'.

There is no evidence that Ngannou would wreck any other top level Heavyweights in the game 'But the man deserves credit for his performance'.

Anthony Joshua is a better boxer miles more proven fighter than Ngannou at World level, and unlike Tyson Fury? The boxing World knows the level of Joshua. 'Joshua not so long ago fought in two competitive fights back to back vs Usyk. There is no doubt that Anthony Joshua skill for skill is a very capable boxer'.

Joshua in comparison to Fury is also objectively a more experienced fighter at fighting at World and elite level, stylistically Joshua always has been a potentially difficult fight for Tyson Fury 'As it is well known that once upon a time ? Fury & Wilder both fought each other to avoid Joshua. Because they both regarded each other as the stylistically easier match up'.

I still rate Fury on merit as the number one Heavyweight, because he has the two best wins on his resume in terms of historical magnitude 'But Fury's true boxing form at World or Elite level since the Wilder trilogy is unknown. Tyson Fury tonight fought a fighter in Ngannou who was competing in his first ever boxing match, Fury was decked and pushed in a competitive 12 round fight' etc.

Great post, I think Fury overlooked Francis, and the proof of it is they are supposed to fight Usyk 6 weeks later.

They didn't see N Gannou as a fight that could be competitive.Fury ended up in a fight and was not ready for a true fight.

Fury was arrogant and deserve the back clash.

Also, saying N'gannou won is annoying.
N'gannou still needed to win 5 rounds to get the win, it didn't happened at all Hearn knows that and is being a dlck.

Hearn should not throw the sport under the bus even if it's not his fault that Fury
              looked garbage.

I think N'gannou loses to most elite HW. People will now be aware of what he can do or cannot.

Hearn seems to be more in a hurry to make AJ vs Francis than AJ vs Wilder lol

I prefer Wilder but I could see AJ/Ngannou in Nigeria. AJ stops him.

Gotta laugh. Plenty of interviews leading up to this fight with the Fury team destroying Hearn and Joshua.

Sometimes better to just say nought and concentrate on the guy in front of you.

As Eddie once famously said Game Changed!

did he overlook him, or has Fury got old over night?

It's not a good look saying you are the best fighter that ever lived and then getting whooped by someone making their debut
