It's the fight to make next year as seen by the media obsession of it. They'll be the ones expected to promote the fight vigorously. This thread should be stickied.

Interesting to see the "media" not as obsessed as with citing weight difference. That's why I don't see this fight having issues in that aspect.

No, I want Canelo to fight Benavidez or Morrell jr., the guys from his own division. I don`t give a damn about him fighting a welterweight.

Just wait and see when the FaceOfBoxing agrees to fight Crawford. The obsession would turn into, "Why is he fighting a smaller guy doe?" They will suddenly turn on the Mexican superstar. Mark my word.

Why don't I like this yutuber interviewer? He's acting like he's some NBC or FOX news guy who has to look at the camera every f**ing minute. Just focus on the guy in front of you man.

They will make it if they think it sells enough but I hope they dont, 3 weight classes is too big of a jump. Canelo wins and what would it prove? even if crawford has some moments then what?

You are so right. It's like American politics. You and I saw the media cajoling and obsessing about Hillary running for president, then came Joe *****. And when they did run, the attack on them started left and right. Every time, I thought to myself, "Didn't you fools wanted them to run, and now not a single praise from you crazy people that they ran?"

I didn't start this thread to signify my approval of the fight. I'd rather see this sport focus on other fighters than Canelo, Canelo, Canelo... I'm sick of it. This sport needs lots of stars to focus on, not just one. But we're here now once again, and the obsession with this Crawford vs Canelo fight is unstoppable. Might as well join the bandwagon, hope it can be made early, get it over with, then move on...
