people dont demand it because there will always be someone for Floyd to fight. You cant let everytime a guy wins a few fights then say that Floyd has to fight him. Floyd is the top guys so everyone is always going to call him out but he's not going to fight all of them. Most people also look at Floyd as the smallest WW and PW as a MW so thats why they dont demand it but Mosley & Cotto both come into the ring at 160-162 pounds and are big strong guys. They are both as true at WW as you can be and Mosley has even looked strong at 154. Thats the difference

3rd Even though Williams did say Floyd's name, I think it was propaganda. Williams is a more natural Jr MW or MW and he only mentions superior fighters like Floyd because he knows he has a huge reach, height, and strength advantage. If Floyd were his size, but still had the same skills as he does now, do you think Paul would be eager to fight? I don't.
Oh really...Floyd was bigger than JMM ******! But that was ok. STFU

I find it hilarious that few people in this thread back then were critisizing the welters for not fighting him... now he's not a draw. where was this talk of williams not being a draw back then, y'all didn't make a word out of it.

just like all the talk about Mayweather being able to make 140, **** is funny to me..

I don't mind Mayweather and Paul going at it. I'd want that, almost as much as Mayweather vs. Pacquiao. Thing is, Paul isn't know and people aren't demanding that. People weren't demanding Mayweather vs. Marquez either but Marquez is known.

I don't think he can make 140 anymore, before he could.

Pwills has white, black, mexican fans. And he isn't a draw? If you watch Floyd fights he doesn't even have that many African-Americans in the background in the audience, I wonder why...

Actually you are right. What you are forgetting to mention is the fact that the size difference between Floyd and PWill is by FAR greater than was the case with PBF and JMM.

Maybe in a year or so but then again in a year or so Paul Williams will probably be compaigning at 160-168 and I dont think he'll be able to physically make 147 like he thinks he can without being drained... It just wont happen Paul needs to just to stop calling Welterweights out they are not going to fight him give it a rest and just stay at 154-168

Wrong Wrong Wrong Mayweather never stepped on the unofficial scale on fight night. He refused (had something to hide)! Pw would make 147 easy to fight him.

Personally I don't Williams should keep going up and down in weight anymore, its not healthy.

Besides, Im begining to think that Williams is just too damn big for the average sized ww's.

And don't give me that Quintanna crap either, to me Williams just had a bad night.

Anyway, Floyd should focus on fighting Mosely and the winner of Cotto v Pac. Even Mosely's a little big for Floyd, but Williams is just a freak of nature.
