Yip. That pretty much sums it up. The difference between Floyd and Shane is, that Floyd ducked Paul Williams when he was at 147. Mosley turned him down when he had already moved back up to 160. Paul Williams put Floyd and Cotto on notice after he beat Margarito. Cotto didn't want any, and Floyd said on B-Talk, "Who is Paul Williams?"

Williams has called out various fighters through out his career, Margarito, Cotto, Mosley, etc. Only Margarito has fought Williams. Cotto and Mosley have been subjected, as insignificant as it is really, to criticism from Floyd fans because of their reluctance to step up and fight the man who has said Cotto and Mosley's names.









Well, now, Williams has said Floyd's name. Will Floyd be subjected to the same treatment?

The same Floyd who was the WBC and RING WW champion, the same Floyd that these same fans claim is the best WW in the division currently, the same Floyd who DECLINED to fight the current LW champion at 144lbs and came in one pound shy of the 147LBS limit....

If Floyd doesn't fight him, is it a smart business decision since Williams isn't a name, or is it a plain and simple duck as it has been called by these same fans when it comes to Mosley and Cotto?

How is it that a fighter who has fought MOST of the top 10 WW's, fought MOST of the WW's Floyd won't fight, gets so much heat from these fans yet have no problem calling Floyd the best WW out there and give him a pass at the same time for not fighting WW's?

I've always said it, and i'm tired of repeating myself. I would love to see Mayweather vs Williams out of curiosity if Floyd can pull of another Corrales-type performance or if Williams will overwhelm Mayweather with his high workrate.

I've always said that I think Williams decisions Mayweather, but i would love to see Mayweather come out on top.

i am being sarcastic but i dont believe mayweather is ducking williams ,williams is not really a ducker but he needs to stop telling everyone that hes avoided by everyone, everyone is calling him out as well but he just seems to want the big names popular fighters, hes not scred of the euros but he should at least fight them , maybe 1, i know its gonna take a while for that to happen but fight dzeinziruk or martinez
