Hearn has definitely fallen on hard times in more recent years. DAZN didnt exactly pan out the way it was supposed to and the tables have turned somewhat when it comes to Matchroom vs Queensberry, in the mid/late 10s it didnt even feel close.

Daddy gave him a pot of money, Sky gave his fights massive promotion. Hearn probably thought he was a genius and that all the success was down to him. Reality is he was given everything on a plate and still managed to **** it up with his arrogance and ******ity.

Exactly. Fury mentions Joshua just as much as Hearn mentions Fury. They're both using each other for promotion it's pretty obvious.

Fury would have you believe that his promoter is the best on earth. Fury would be trash-talking Warren if he was currently with Matchroom. Just the way Fury operates. I think Matchroom has been fine this year. When Fury said "full stable", he probably meant HW which is where Matchroom's control has decreased. But in boxing, control is always temporary. It only takes one good or bad performance to shift the balance of power in any division. Because as low as people are on AJ right now, his marquee value is still greater than 90% of boxers.

Fury's relationship with Warren would have you believe that the tables have turned. Even with AJ unraveling and Benn/Eubank not happening, Matchroom has stayed near the top through sheer activity (MR's 32 total/17 UK vs. QbP's 14 and BOXXER's 12). Even with Matchroom's global expansion affecting their # of UK shows, QbP and BOXXER still haven't been able to completely wrestle away control of the domestic scene. It appears like MR has left a void that the competitors are struggling to completely fill.

              --Queensberry's notable bouts: Beterbiev/Yarde, Dalakian/Jimenez, Joyce/Zhang 1 and 2, Lopez/Conlan, Ball/Lamati, Usyk/Dubois, Wardley/Adeleye, Ball/Dogboe, Sheeraz/Williams, and (hopefully) Fury/Usyk.

Yarde once again lost his step-up fight, Joyce got wrecked twice, and Dubois seemingly quit again. They are arguably the most important pieces on the chessboard. Fortunately for QbP, Ball and Sheeraz are on the cusp of world-level. Additionally, it's clear that the dinosaurs are sticking together because TR and QbP share fighters with each other (Beterbiev, Lopez, Dogboe). The TR relationship is as important as the Fury relationship.

So true. The best fighter Hearn has is Katie Taylor. Either Hearn lacks knowledge about the business, or he’s hustling because the only person Canelo is fighting is another PBC fighter not named Benevidez of Morrel. Canelo is looking for the biggest purse against the easiest opponent so Crawford has a chance because Canelo want no risk. Berlanga, who Hearn is stuck with because he thought Canelo was staying with MisMatchroom.

AJ needs courage and a heart transplant and no lights in the ring when he fights because he fights like a deer in headlights. The KO by Ruiz F-ed his world up badly.
