HBO sure left with a whimper, their last match was women's match.

So that rumor of pbc moving to Amazon prime carries some weight now. When Broner said they would be fighting on Twitter I thought he was being goofy but it seems legitimate now. If I'm not mistaken boxxer just signed a TV deal with NBC Sports.

All good things must come to an end.

Showtime in the 2010s under Ken Hershman was the greatest boxing programming in history. Super Six, Batamweights, Cruiserweights. No nationalistic/ethnic favoritism, no "Lets stage a fight where a good Puerto Rican fighter beats up a bad Mexican fighter in NYC" type nonsense. You had guys from the four corners of the earth with no natural built-in ethnic fanbase just going to war on Showtime.

This is terrible news for true boxing fans. I wonder what's going to happen to all those Wakanda/ Ldbc YouTube channels? Will they start to cover the sport or will they disappear?

            Edit: Wilder-Ruiz as co-main

Pbc as a company will still exist just on a different network. Most of their fights are PPV as it is.

I think the writing was on the wall, I for one chose to ignore it. Ah well, it was a good run and I wish Bernstein the best. Only him though.

This is good news. I loved HBO and I love Showtime. They’re the only two subscriptions I have, and I’ll keep them because boxing was always secondary to their tv shows, movies, and documentaries.

Boxing needs a shake up. Going to DAZN or Amazon is a great look. Preferably Amazon as it is likely to be more affordable.

Maybe boxing is really dying this time.

so they can ruin another platform for boxing. Not a fan of promotions or networks but the truth is PBC made all these networks and platforms not want to be in the boxing business anymore.
