Comments Thread For: Robeisy Ramirez-Rafael Espinoza WBO Title Fight To Headline December 9 ESPN Show; Location TBD

Robeisy Ramirez knows when and against whom he will next fight. The location is the last remaining part to sort out for a WBO featherweight title defense versus unbeaten contender Rafael Espinoza. The two will meet atop a December 9 ESPN show, likely in South Florida though such details are still being worked out as this goes to publication.

This fight will be in Miami. Don’t know why Ramirez’s next opponent, Espinoza, isn’t showing up on Boxrec. This is a done deal.

The guy seems to be a good fighter, 21-0-18ko. He's been fighting boxers with winning records. Should be a good scrap, this is not an easy nor a stay busy fight.

This guy, at least on paper, looks good. Looking forward to it. Robeisy looks like he’s really locked into his career now.

Yeap, I'm glad he had a wake up call in his very first fight.

I'm looking forward to it, but they really need to forget about Robeisy facing Naoya the match afterwards, and look to make a Venado-Robeisy unification fight happen instead.

Inoue has said it multiple times that he wants to have an undisputed defense before he moves up to 126 as he didn't have a chance to do so at 118, so he's definitely fighting at least 2 more matches in 122, possibly 3 or 4.

They're not going to forget a fight with inoe. If they offer the fight he will take it in a heart beat.

They gotta keep the option open. I'm not seeing Espinoza presenting that much of a problem. He keeps his hands way too low, and Ramirez hits too hard for that. Styles make fights only when the levels are similar, and so far, Ramirez looks to be the more skilled. Then again, every once in a while a guy upsets the apple cart.
