Tim Tszyu couldn't believe Brian Mendoza remained on his feet after Tszyu landed so many flush punches on him during their entirely one-sided 11th round Sunday afternoon.

This fight will do Tszyu a lot of good. Twelve rounds of hard fighting against a resilient opponent who was not afraid of throwing punches. You can't ask for more in terms of confidence-building experience.

Big Tim fan - full disclosure, I'm an Aussie, but I feel too much is being made of his power. He's not a one punch knock em dead type hitter. Sure, he can wear some fighters down, but I think this "massive power"people are hyping up isn;'t exactly the case.

Most definitely. Tim is ready for Charlo for all the straps.

Tim is sharp and fast but is not a huge puncher. Mendoza came to win as evident in the last round. Good fight for Tszyu that he was able not to loose concentration for 12 rounds and took some hard shots at times.

I said I 'll put money on Tim had they fought a year or so ago seeing how much of an underdog he is been listed. Now I am more certain that if they fight now, Tim will definitely win. His mindset for one in staying active and staying sharp against good competition will only serve him well. Charlo on the other hand hasn't done much and with that Canelo performance, I wonder what his psyche is like now and whether he becomes gun shy if he's unable to hurt Tim and Tsyzu keep coming with that pressure and relentlessness. Am thinking it may not even happen at this point and Charlo may just go to middleweight. He is definitely in a tough spot if he comes back to 154 cos Crawford or Tsyzu will be lurking.

Tim is the truth. If Charlo wants to wipe the stench of that Canelo non performance he has to face and beat Tim impressively. There is no getting around this. Either fight Tim or drop the belts and forever be remembered as the champ who avoided Tim. One thing is for sure Tim wants Charlo ....bad. Hope we get to see it.

That flush triple uppercut combo would have folded quite a few cats TBH

I don't think he will win, but Tim deserves his shot at Charlo. He's more than earned it. There's now no escaping this fight for Jermell. He's basically cornered. Tszyu has gained considerable sizzle over the past year while Charlo has lost considerable sizzle.

Tim Tszyu is good for boxing. Entertaining to watch and just basically up for the fight. And he now has Charlo in a good position. No way Charlo can spin it if he avoids Tim now apart from what it so obviously would be.
