Comments Thread For: Rolando Romero's Coach: "Imagine If Rolly Would've Fought That Version Of Spence? He Would've Got Him"

It's been fun to play around with the idea. Two future Hall of Famers and pound-for-pound stars still at the top of their games going at it? Who wouldn't want to see it? Unfortunately for us, 21 pounds of weight have prevented Terence Crawford and Canelo Alvarez from jumping into the ring with one another. But, after cleaning up the welterweight division, Crawford is in search of the biggest challenges and paydays. Both just so happened to be associated with Alvarez.

We talking about the Rolly that got gifted a belt after being dogwalked by a senior citizen?

MF's need to get off the "That version of Spence" BS. Its always been the same version of Spence.

If that fight ever got scheduled, Rolly would've pulled out injured. Ducks Ohara Davies but could somehow beat Spence

spence's best win is lamont peterson, so romero punching him square into the crowd would not surprise me. romero would easily beat crawford too. that's the whole reason crawford left 140. where do you guys have romero on the pound for pound list? i have him in my top 4

Probably not Ortiz. Trying to make 147 has been a near death experience for him. He may have to return at middleweight.

I genuinely believe Rolly couldn’t even beat a 16 year old novice version of Spence.

Romero is terrible man, he has to be up there as one of the worst world champions ever.

It's funny seeing people living in fantasy land.

Spence could be drunk with one eye, and he'd still beat up someone like Rolly.

I am so sick of hearing this BS! Spence looked the way he did BECAUSE of Terrance Crawford. Had he been fighting anyone else he would have looked the way we expected him to look. Some people simply just cannot bring themselves to give that man his credit.

we don't really know how good spence is. i think he's basically on the level of journeyman shawn porter. when everyone was salivating over spence vs crawford i didn't understand why it was a superfight or why people thought it was 50/50. styles make fights and romero is so bad that he's probably difficult for someone like spence (crawford too), he stops both of them
