I don't even know why anybody would think he didn't win the fight ....it was an ugly fight but he clearly won about five rounds of the six

he won the round he got deducted a point as well so that was 9 - 9 not 10 - 9

You could only give KSI the first round and even then he only landed one punch
Spot on lad, can't argue with that. I had it 4-2 Tommy, but gave KSI a debatable round. Frustrating fight to watch, Tommy has zero inside the game. Shocking really considering he's Tyson's half-brother. How the fook does he spar with Tyson with nothing on the inside? His arms seem too long for his body, all elbows and grabbing, his left hook is so telegraphed and looping, horrible. Very limited fighter, but fair play to him earning a bit of coin.

As for Paul-Danis, that fight looked fixed to me. Was as if Danis was paid to not hit back, or at least hold himself back for the majority of the rounds. Literally threw 3-4 half-hearted flurries the whole fight. Definitely fixed in my opinion. Embarrassing for both "fighters".

      I didn't see much landing.

Tommy probably landed more clean punches but they would be in single digits.

      Just an embarrassment all round.
      Pretty much this

Both were garbage but it's not like you could actually give KSI the rounds. he wasn't doing anything except ducking low causing a clinch or swinging wildly inside.

      • Tommy fury nicked it. He was the one being the aggressor and KSi was the one who was doing alot of the clinching the whole fight. But horrible fight and Tommy fury should be embarrassed about that because he looked like awful

That's what I was saying earlier, I used to hate sparring guys with no serious boxing background that just come in and throw wild punches. Obviously if you're a decent enough boxer you will get the measure of them, but sometimes for a couple of rounds it's actually much easier to fight an actual boxer.

            • I think we can all agree the real winner here was boxing.

Seems like everyone thought KSI won. Might’ve landed cleaner but he had a point deducted

                      .

to be fair whenever I've seen any footage of them sparring it's just a bit of light body sparring like you "throw one, I throw one" kind of thing...there's not really much else going on. I don't think it's actually benefiting anybody apart from, just light exercise.

I don't think it actually helps that John Fury is his trainer too, he has literally no training experience and it looks like Tommy Fury has actually gone backwards since John Fury took over

early in his career he didn't look great and wasn't fighting anyone good, as most people dont then, but he actually used his jab pretty well and had pretty decent feet and distance control, which all seems to have disappeared. That's when he was trained by Hatton, before he went on reality TV etc. Not that Tommy was ever going to be a world beta but he actually has some natural gifts that could have made him effective like his reach and jab and things like that, but everything seems to have regressed.

John Fury and his ego and love for the limelight has gone out of control though and I don't think he wants anybody else to train Tommy because he wants to be part of all of this.
