Guys want to fight Inoue now that he's a cash cow. Nobody was lining up to fight him when he was all risk and no reward.
If people are going to tell me that Inoue was the best fighter in all his weight classes (which a lot do) then I’m going to bring up the names he missed.

You in particular shouldn’t have a problem with this, Canelo actually fought Bivol yet you still find a way to find negative things to say about that.

That made me wonder so I wikipedia'd it, but...dang, funny stuff.

      Tank Davis:
Jan 14, 2017 Won IBF super featherweight title against champion Jose Pedraza. After one successful defense he missed weight on Aug 26th and was stripped of the belt before his second defense
Apr 21 2018 Won vacant WBA (Super) super featherweight title against Jesus Cueller. Made two successful defense then went up to lightweight
Dec 28 2019 Won vacant WBA (Regular) lightweight title against Yuriorkis Gamboa.
Oct 31, 2020 Retained WBA (Regular) lightweight title, and also regained WBA (Super) super featherweight title that he vacated when he went up to fight Gamboa for the vacant WBA (Regular) lightweight) which his challenger Leo Santa Cruz had won after he vacated.
June 26 2021 Won WBA (Regular) super lightweight title against Mario Barrios. So far just this one match only at super lightweight as he has made three more defense of his WBA (Regular) lightweight title against Isaac Cruz, Rolando Romero, Hector Garcia. The catchweight against Ryan Garcia was non-title bout.

So Tank's won IBF super featherweight, vacant WBA (Super) super featherweight, a vacant "Regular" belt which he currently has and an one-time match at one weight class above for another "Regular" belt that he's vacated since then.

      Marlon Tapales:
Jul 17 2016 Won WBO bantamweight title against champion Pungluang Sor Singyu. Missed weight for his first defense.
Apr 8 2023 Won WBA (Super) and IBF super-bantamweight titles against champion Murodjon Akhmadaliev. Will probably be losing them in December 26th 2023.

Tapales won WBO bantamweight, WBA (Super) and IBF super-bantamweight.

I don't consider a "regular" belt to be any more than a jumped up mandatory. You're not a world champion if there's another guy with a higher version of your belt in the same organization, any more than an interim titlist is the real champion. WBA (Super) is their actual world champion. Tank's only real belts are his IBF and WBA (Super) super featherweight belts. He may get upgraded by email to Super at 135 after Devin Haney is forced to vacate, but yeah, he's only ever won two real world titles, while Tapales has won 3.

Strange comparison. Not much positive to say about losing 11-1 and then avoiding the rematch, but you do you I guess lol

Also misses the point that's been repeatedly made that those names he keeps bringing up all avoided Inoue, and that Inoue didn't duck them. That's a rather important distinction. I don't really have much of an issue with Canelo aside from everyone in that gym popping for PEDS and then all having awful performances after the scrutiny was on. But it's flat ****** to bring up names that avoided him. That's like saying it's Janibek's fault for not fighting Andrade, or that it's AJ's fault that Wilder turned down his offer and fought Fury instead. That latter is actually really similar to the situation with Chocolatito and Inoue, since Wilder turned down AJ to fight Fury, then lost twice. Except Inoue didn't lose twice in the interim like AJ.

Canelo actually fought the tough guy, win or lose.

You are blinded so much for your hatred of him that you can’t even see that.

Inoue completely missed Choc, Estrada, SSR, and Cuadras. Never got in the ring with any of them.

He definitely missed Choc and Estrada, who are locked in for hall of fame.

The only hof fighter he fought was a 40 year old Donaire who he went life and death with in the first fight

He needs to prove in the ring not in his fans imagination.

It's like saying don't make Shakur vs Tank because Shakue will outbox Tank anyways.
But you do care for who wins, because you show disdain for certain fighters like they did something to you.. similar to many other Mexican fans.

I don't care, im just here roasting people. I know Shakur is the favorite and most likely to win, but I still want to see. Same as I knew Crawford was going to beat Spece, but I still watch it. Same as Canelo vs Charlo, I knew the outcome but Still watch.

Judging by the way life played out, Chocolatito was likely to lose in devastating fashion either way: Rungvisai or Inoue.

It took longer for Inoue to become a crossover star because he didn't face Choco.
