I remember a Lomachenko fight with a Mexican guy. Lot of low blows but commission did nothing afterwards

The only times I see a ring ruling overruled by an organization is if one of the fighters pop positive for peds. Usually even if the ref makes a bad call the Org will stand behind the ref.; they will NOT throw their refs under the bus because if they do, no top ref is going to want to work for that organization.Comment

Appealing against a referee's decision when there is clear video evidence that the ref got it right was a temper tantrum reaction by Frank Warren.
Bricktop was really, really pissed off that he wasn't going to be promoting an undisputed HW title fight between 2 of his guys after all. Talk about spitting the dummy!

This era of HWs has had more than enough chances to get it done. They should all be held accountable.
Could be fun to take it back to Lewis and chart all the times undisputed could have happened but didn't.

Damn time flies. I was going to take it back to Wilder-Klitschko but that's before the five year mark.

We should have known something was up when, for the first time in boxing history, two brothers held every version of the title between them and their mother made them promise never to fight each other.Comment

Imo, don’t think the ref was corrupt or paid off or any wild conspiracy.
I thought it was a legal shot in real time. I am not sure if Usyk would’ve gotten up. I felt the ref cost DuBois the title in the RBR thread that night in real time.
WBA has made their ruling. I am fine with it.Comment
