Say Paul beats Pavlik, who can he really go to next? I think Shane would be his best option. Mosley probably isn't getting Mayweather or Pacquiao any time soon. He either has to retire or fight somebody who wants him. HBO would put up huge money for that fight. That might change his mind about not wanting any part of Williams. The best Welterweight vs. The best Middleweight. They could meet at 154, but Shane probably would not go for that. 147 would be more likely.

Or I guess he could just sit tight and beat up the trash at the top of 160, but that would probably be too boring for Paul.

There is nothing for him at 160 after Pavlik. If he wins, he shoud go down to 154 and fight martinez and Dzinziruk who are willing to fight him. Also he can go down to 147 and fight Clottey. And, by that time Shane will fight him. But, you are rght it will be at 147. Also James Kirkland will be ready to fight in about a yea. Before Kirkland went to jail. Kirkland was willing to fight Paul. If James gets a few fights under his belt and gets back to the level where he was at. Then that is another fight for Paul.

Shane would also be 40 years old by then and probably retired. But yeah, it is more realistic for Paul to fight those guys at 154. I just really wanna see Paul and Shane go at it.

If he can make th wait why not? If Paul could make 105 and beat Roman Gonzalez I would give him credit. Even after winning the MW title. I don't see it like you do that his 'picking on WWs'. Now if he made them go up to 160 then yes I agree. But, if Paul is going down to 147. Then he gets credit.

I understand if he goes down to 147 and fights Pac. Then I might agree cuz Pac is not a real WW. Pac could still make 140. Then yes he shouldn't get credit for that. But, Cotto, Shane, and Floyd are WWs. I think he wold deserve credit

Like Floyd for example no credit for him for beating JMM. Floyd is a real WW and JMM is barely a LW. So Floyd deserves no credit for that. But, if Floyd went down to 135 and beat JMM then would of deserved the credit.

If Vitaly can get down to 175 and beat Chad Dawson he deserves credit.

No welterweight has knocked P-Will out. Quintana won by decision.

I am fan of Shane, I like Shane and I believe Shane when he says that after he gets 1 big money fight. He will fight anybody including Paul Williams. So there is hope that fight takes place. But, if does it will be at 147.

Mosley would fight Paul Williams before Floyd will. That's for sure.
