I cannot wait for this epic battle take place between two of the greatest fighters that have ever been known! Fighters are so much better than they were in those black and white hard to watch films. They look like they hold their hand so funny! Are people serious about how great that Joe Louis guy was?! They would never have a chance against gods like Tyson or Ngannou! I can’t believe this classic is so cheap! I personally would have paid 179.95!!!

"True boxing fan boycott" would equate to all of about 10 people not watching it(hyperbole but still).

The reality is the majority of the money comes from casuals and they're lapping up the "hardest puncher in history" narrative and most likely want to see Fury KO'd after his behaviour of late.

In truth this probably works in Furys favour as he seems to thrive under intense criticism/pressure and if he's positioned as a heel rather than a hero going into the Usyk fight I think that'll be to his benefit as well.

The engagement across social media on their absolutely horrendous promo only goes to show how much that casuals lap this shít up.

Was thinking the same thing. EOTTM got Mak faded veterans in Wach & Takam but they never put Kean in with him. Instead Kean gets his first real step up fight against Parker. It should have been Makhmudov vs Parker.

I'm ok with just reading the result. No way I'm paying almost the same as the Canelo Charlo PPV

Am I the only one that suspects that the Fury-Usyk announcement is just a ploy to create more interest in this farce and seem to make it more acceptable? No word on any negotiations, then it's suddenly announced as signed.

No, you are not. Fury takes great joy and amusement in stringing fans along. I will not believe that Fury will step up to the ring with Usyk until a week after the fight happens.
