But why was Canelo obligated to fight him when fans wanted him to fight him when no other fighter had done this, not even Mayweather, waiting five years to fight Pacquiao? If GGG was more prime and Canelo barely entering his and he was aware of this, can you blame him for waiting an extra year if that was indeed the case, though he claims it was due to his lawsuit? He eventually fought him 3x. And after the 2nd fight was canceled, GGG had the chance to fight anyone he wanted and he chose Vanes Martirosyan, you applaud this?Last edited by Murcielago; 10-28-2023, 01:08 PM.Comment

Canelo literally dropped a belt to avoid him. There's no way you can weasel out of that fact. Canelo ducked prime GGG, then lost to a year older version of him and got handed a draw, then popped for PEDs, then lost again and got handed a win, then waited four years to give him the trilogy, then finally won.
