GGG was a good fighter in his prime, not too many challenges at MW when he was making his run. He has no marquee wins and the Canelo fights one of them should had gone his way.

People forget that Canelo avoided him in his 155 pound weight class, Cotto fought someone else and Martinez never stepped up to fight him.

His career shows that KOes gets you paid.

Still can't count? Keep making up those lies little guy people might actually believe it. I was too busy this week watching Texas advance and the Phillies get spanked no boxing worth watching going on this week anyways.

        Wow....
MFers flapping their lips because Nelo INTENTIONALLY stayed in the womb to avoid Triple Flop

Now lame AF MFers, you , are trying to vamp up Triple Flop's credibility because a small, feather fisted old version of an ATG didn't fight him ?!?!?!?

Triple Flop didn't have any special FX.
        Move forward, throw punches
Don't try to hard to avoid incoming
Hell of a jab, though. Respect

Noticed how ONLY a scubby Pac fan, once again, you mentioned that.
Shame how you scrubs forgave Triple Flop on not keeping HIS failed promiseS
        ''ANYONE from 154-168''
''Don't worry guys. I'm moving back down to defend my MW titles .''

        Oops

        FOH, goofball

Anyone special or noteworthy on his MW run ?
Could he not have moved up and fought bigger bums ?
Why are fight fans so forgiving when it comes to GGG ?
Anyone else with that lame run and that fighter would be called on it.
          But not GGG.

          Baffling to say the least.

Had a fantastic run, made a ton of money, one of the longest ko streaks in MW championship history, didn't get hurt or humiliated in any fights, and even scored an impressive stoppage in his final fight we presume. Only knock is corrupt judging in his first fight with Canelo which he clearly won.

What would fight fans say if this were Nelo's resume ?!?!

Would they accept the ''Everyone ducked him.'' LIE ?!?!
Not call him out for staying in a graveyard of a div just so he can pad the stats ?!?!?
Not remind Nelo of his ''ANYONE from 154-168'' PROMISE. ?!?!?

Not only does boxing need a scoring system, it can use better, UNBIASED fans.

GGG = Calzaghe in terms of his long but unremarkable run.

People are rating GGG over Hopkins because of the knockouts. GGG's problem is he failed to knockout the best fighters he faced (Jacobs and Canelo), nor did he dominate. There was no "corrupt" judging, it was a close fight because he wasn't good enough to dominate leaving open the risk it won't go your way. It's like when soccer teams sit on a 1-0 lead and a bad referee call goes against you. I have no sympathy, you should press your advantage.

Hopkins dominated Trinidad and would have won on the cards even without the late stoppage. He passed the test.

Why is it baffling? He was entertaining and I am not propping him up. Just said that he lacks big names and at least one of those Canelo fights should had gone to him. There was a reason why the first two fights against Canelo sold so well and they both showed that their skills, chin, endurance, etc was at the top of the sport.
