I've emailed Gilberto Mendoza directly to see when the WBA will initiate proceedings to strip Charr (again) given he has no fight scheduled and is unable to fulfill his mandatory obligation which came with his reinstatement.

WBC WBA IBF - can you help out? I believe you have contacts at the sanctioning bodies. It would be good to know what they intend to do at super-middle, welterweight, lightweight and minimumweight too.

The situation at minimumweight has become particularly farcical. There's surely a good case for stripping both.

It resulted from a court settlement (see link here). Not much information is given but I assume the financial cost of settling was greater than the reputational cost of reinstating him.
