It wasn't the big-name opponent he was hoping for but Shakur Stevenson could have a mega fight on his hands sooner rather than later.

It’s been cooking for a while I think, with Navarrete facing his third once-beaten-by-Shakur opponent, he’s been measured up for it for sure. And by the way, Navarrete put a bigger beating on both Gonzalez and Valdez than Shakur did.

Navarette not at all interested in fighting Shakur Stevenson. But, I hope I'm wrong!

Top Rank is going to make it happen, but first they both have win. De Los Santos is no easy task.

I think is the othe away around. Navarette has nothing to lose and everything to gain.

Emanuel Navarette would get beat the hell up, too slow and machanical, easy work. Shakur has to many gifts for styles like this and would expose him badly and it would be down hill from their, everyone else would have the playbook.

Navarette didn't dream of moving up until Stevenson moved out at 130. Navarette not fcking with Stevenson.

Naah I disagree, Shakur hasn’t faced anyone who can break his rhythm and get him out of his comfort zone. Sure, he has had tremendous success against one dimensional and predictable fighters who can’t punch to save their lives (except maybe for Valdez). Navarrete is the complete opposite, his reach and off-rhythm hard punching will give Stevenson hell.

Navarette beat Christopher Diaz, Joet Gonzalez, Oscar Valedez in a more destructive fashion than Shakur. He will show him with Conceicao as well.

Shakur couldnt even make weight after his Valdez fight, how the *** was he supposed to fight Navarette at 130. Navarette ain't ducking a feather fisted.

Hard core boxing fans don't use goofball terms like feather fisted, pillow fisted, etc. but how the fck they could have have done this was get to it a while ago before Stevenson ran into weight issues. That's how the fck it could have happened. Navarette ain't fckin with Stevenson.
