Yes. This is why somebody 40+ old can be a champ at heavyweights, but it would be highly unlikely having so old champ at bantamweight.

You lose your speed an reflexes first. But in lower divisions they are the most important.

Look at Nonito Donaire. He has had a run at the top of the rankings into his 40’s thanks to his power.

His power is the same it always been.

He throws a ton of body shots and looks for the head if its there. He stopped Plant and Saunders because he landed some big head shots. Saunders made it easy ducking down for him.

Charlo he only got like 2 decent head shots the entire fight, charlo ran all night and ate his body shots.

He isnt a big puncher at all, he is probably below average at 168 in terms of actual one shot max power. He just changed his style to throw every shot with high power instead of mixing it up. He probably had to do this for bigger guys to respect him but when the KOs started coming he just kept it up but it doesnt work all the time and he needs to box more and use more combinations and feints.

So you cherrypick nelo when hes lost power. So if Nelo wins, he won even without having his power. Wow, surely Nelo would get credit for beating a man they said Nelo avoided.
Nelos had some questionable wins with dodgy decisions CWS, and bloating fighters up and stuff. But this surely would be a great win in the bag

            Not a Canelo fan.

            Reading comprehension is fundamental.

Charlo 154, better that than getting put in a coma like Khan coming up 2 weight classes. Canelo run for belts at 168 is a bunch of Euro slugs, nasal spray and sweet cheeks. The best boxers i have seen him against he couldn't stop. Now Benavidez is no boxer, more like a come forward log like Ramirez.

Stamina issues are forcing Alvarez to average throwing only 32 punches per round and most of them are single punches. While on the other hand, David will more than double Canelo's low punch volume and work rate.

If canelo doesn't throw enough punches. Then I just don't see how he can win.
                  Canelo dropped charlo
                  canelo stopped a undefeated plant
                  David went 12 with plant

Canelo won't fight Bivol again. He knows better. That's why he's been fighting who he's fighting: he needs his confidence rebuilt. Bivol- and Mayweather - showed that a solid jab and movement are enough to beat Canelo.
Charlo ran all night by moving his feet

probably but canelo pays better and looks better on resume. all 5'9 of tim is going to have his hands full when ennis and ortiz jr adjust to the weight. as i said before when you become undisputed, you move on, don't hang around the weight like josh taylor and get beat by Looney Lopez and Jack Cholesterol
