He showed, that a fighter who wants nothing more than to survive that he will let him do just that.

-He is not 'back', because he was never there.
-Old twice beat, and soften up by Ward Sergey Kovalev.
-His PED episode, is forgotten by some but not all.
-Cherry picking up and down weight divisions does not make him HOF materiel in my opinions.

The fighters that he bypassed, and the less than elite does not make some kind of goat.

He'd fight his for now new 'stable mates' the Charlows, Errol Spence, or who ever, because he is a sham.

He won't fight Terence Crawford, because this Floyd Mayweather PBC wrong side of the street sheet continues, and it is old and boring.

Not seeing it, personally. He used to use head movement and even the occasional feints, take angles. Now he just walks forward, puts up high guard, opens up when he sees them move if he can with single or double punches, or leans back in high guard and lets them move out, then lather, rinse, repeat. He's not even really countering as much or as well as he used to.

The skill level on display is still good enough to outpoint a 154 lb guy who didn't come to fight, but I think it's factual that it's not what we used to see. Watch the Jacobs fight and the Charlo fight back to back, even just the highlights and tell me that he's "back". I still think Benavidez won't be as hard for him as people claim, and that he's not beating Bivol without envelopes of cash slipped to the judges. That's not changed. Maybe he can regain his former form with the right tacos, but to my eye, he's lost a step.

I couldn't be more impressed with Canelo. The K.O would have been nice but tbh Charlo is a dad so the loss is enough, we don't need too see guys getting knocked out all the time.

And why would that be? Because jermell is the better fighter of the two so the other undefeated “bigger” charlo isn’t gonna do a damn thing with canelo, there’s levels and canelo is above them boys even though they are good fighters. Canelo is great. Difference

Yeah so great that he waited until they were both at a disadvantage to face them instead of when the fights actually mattered. Typical canelo shyt
