It's quite funny to think all that money is being spent on what could end up being a dull fight.

Fair play though if I was in their position, I might do the same.

Gee, you might do the same for $100M in your pocket for one night of work? That’s awful generous on your part.

No I mean if I was in the Saudi's position I might also spend the money on making the biggest, best fights happen.

The Saudi’s have a different agenda. You can see that in other sports like golf. The Saudi influence is being played out in the Global Sports Arena. From “The Guardian”

“This is a sports strategy that is as comprehensive and more detailed than any other in the world,” says one executive who has been party to the plans, speaking on condition of anonymity. “It is not a fad, this is not just some rich man’s whim. This has been planned, it is a real approach to what sport can do to change a nation in relation to health, wellbeing and active participation. It’s a really detailed plan and it’s been based on the best sports strategies in the world. This is a very coordinated approach.”

Fury is finally on board. It only took $100 million, but we got there.

Glad the fight is happening, good for him that he is making the money, but I’ll say this as someone who has been around long enough. This won’t end well, not the fight but him. The high from this will be chased and with him being prone to sniffing/snorting and binge drinking, he’s gonna keep chasing that high. Hope I’m wrong but it has felt like he’s traded the coke high temporarily for the financial and crowd highs and when both of those settle down….back to drugs. Hell we saw the aftermath right after wilder, can’t really find too many interviews where he isn’t geeked up.

Ronaldo is making $200 million a year. Neymar is making close to $100 million a year.
Fury and AJ have fought in Saudi Arabia and made way more than they’d make in the UK. All tax free.

How exactly do you “absolutely do not see that being possible”?

Saudi Arabia is one of the greatest nations on the planet. I love that they are borrowing the blue print of two of the greatest ********ic and capitalistic countries - The US and the UK.
Meanwhile a socialist nation like France can eat a bag of ….
