Fury and AJ have fought in Saudi Arabia and made way more than they’d make in the UK. All tax free.
How exactly do you “absolutely do not see that being possible”?
this ain’t a mayweather vs pacquaio or McGregor lvl ppv numbers
That’s why
football is a massive consistent draw.. a bad and pointless comparison to use

Jeeezoos), and Taylor Swift can make 92m for belting out light pop songs written by somebody else......what do YOU think the Champion of ALL The Planet in the only weaponless combat that has Ever been globally important deserves to make????????
Every swipe you take,
Every Sting fan you forsake,

If you are look at the OECD's list of which countries have the highest percentage of university education, Saudi Arabia doesn't even make the list -- and the list includes countries like South Africa, Chile, Costa Rica and Brazil.
In a list of "quality of life" by US News which attempts to take into account things like political stability, income equality, public health and education, Saudi Arabia comes 30th.
If you look at US News' list for human rights, Saudi Arabia comes in at no.79. Worse than Algeria, Kazahkstan, Qatar and Myanmar...
It's a desert ruled by a despot who likes to torture and murder people for bizarre crimes, such as being a wizard.
Amongst Western nations, guess where the US ranks in every aspect of any kind of measurement? The bottom.
So, I’ll say Saudi is doing just fine.
As for a despot that likes to torture and murder people, the justice system in the US does the same exact thing mostly to poor people and people of Color.

Football is massive in Spain, England and Italy where TV rights, endorsements and gate attendance revenue justify the massive salaries players make.
Saudi Arabia does not depend on PPV or endorsements or attendance or TV rights to generate money. The money paying Ronaldo and the others is coming from a fund created by the Kingdom’s Public Invested Fund aka OIL DOLLARS. So, if attendance was free and No Endorsement deals, players will get paid no matter what.
It is the same fund that’s paid AJ in the past and Fury. Besides, boxing is not even a huge event in Saudi Arabia so this is not about investing to recoup money. This is branding.
So this is not a pointless comparison at all.

Have you not seen how the Saudi's are throwing money around like mad? That was a different era with different backers. Doesn't take a brain surgeon to see the writing on the wall here.
