BTW US ranks no.1 out of every country for GDP, so you're off the mark saying it's bottom.

Are you going to use GDP as a measure of success? Well, China is 9th and India is 11th. That makes those two countries better places to live than Norway or Sweden I bet.

The US justice system is 100% last when compared to the top 20 WESTERN nations. Healthcare is also a joke. Throw in gun violence and incarceration and again, it’s at the bottom. That brings me to the original discussion, how is the US any better than Saudi Arabia?

Am I going to use GSP as a measure of success? Yes, I thought I made that clear from my post when I originally asked you what metrics you were using to claim Saudi Arabia was the greatest country in the world and began by talking about GDP.

Clearly how wealthy a country is belongs as part of the conversation of how great it is.
If a country ranked as the poorest in the world, it would have a bearing on how great we thought that country was and the reverse holds true.

A better measure might be median wealth per capita, or to use the Gini index which measures wealth distribution.
Of course wealth is not the only measure. We have to contextualise with other metrics, such as education, access to healthcare, happiness, amenties, and so on. I did mention mamy of these already.

I do not argue with you about gun violence or incarceration rates in the US; these certainly count against it.

In terms of the original discussion, you claimed "Saudi Arabia is one of the greatest nations on the planet. I love that they are borrowing the blue print of two of the greatest ********ic and capitalistic countries - The US and the UK."

You seemed to have switched somewhat from this position. I already gave you my answer as to why I think Saudi Arabia is far from one of the greatest nations on the planet. Specifically in terms of your new question of how is the US any better, the US does offer more freedom to the individual and better protections for the individual. It's also not a desert with little hope of a future if we ever free ourselves of our oil habit.

I don't argue with your criticisms of the US and it wouldn't be my choice of place to live, though I have always enjoyed visiting.
