Beterbiev murders Canelo. Canelo had no power to keep even Bivol away.
Beterbiev punches much harder. Artur wouldn`t bother about Canelo`s punches, he would walk the guy down.
Canelo likes to take some rest on the ropes. Yeah, good luck doing that fighting Artur.Last edited by JakeTheBoxer; 10-08-2023, 01:37 PM.Comment

I agree that this is the fight to make though if he were actually serious about fighting for legacy and proving he's the best. If he won, he could easily get the rematch with Bivol at 175. But I don't think he wants either of them, because I don't think he feels either fight is actually winnable.
I notice Benavidez isn't calling out Beterbiev either. The only 168lb champ that's going for Beterbiev is Callum Smith.Comment

Artur ain't one punch killer. He needs combinations. Canelo wouldn't get caught. His 100% KO rate shouldn't fool you. Most of them are TKO or RTD.
Canelo should box and needs to focus on his stamina. That's all. Easy 12-0 bout for Canelo.Last edited by Silence; 10-08-2023, 04:48 PM.Comment

Well, it's not all B.S. the war is definitely a factor....but in the same sense, Top Rank like all of those promotional companies, love to play the politics on making the fights that matter. It's all about maximizing the money for everyone but the guys risking their lives in the ring.
Yup, Bivol vs Beterbiev is all that matters for the 4 belt era undisputed status for 175.
If I'm not mistaken, both Bivol and Beterbiev were under the same network/stable until Beterbiev left for Top Rank.
And Bivol's on record welcoming the challenge of facing Beterbiev. It's Arum, Top Rank and the WBC coming out with BS excuses about the ongoing Ukraine war and other such nonsense.Comment
