  • Comments Thread For: Isaac 'Pitbull' Cruz And Team Continue To Angle For Gervonta 'Tank' Davis Rematch

The team surrounding Isaac Cruz continues its 'Pitbull' approach to land a lucrative rematch. Gervonta 'Tank' Davis has yet to reveal plans for his next fight, other than to recently confirm that he was done for the rest of the year and eyes a January 2024 ring return. An opponent is not attached to his ring return, which has left the door open for Mexico City's Cruz to throw his hat in the ring to run it back with the sport's leading box-office attraction and reigning secondary WBA lightweight titlist.

How about Shakur's duckers Pitbull vs Martin. Winner gets to fight another ducker Tank Davis.

Rematch for what ? He couldn't beat a one handed Tank. I don't know about y'all but I'm not interested in a rematch. I don't see Cruz doing anything different or winning.

It's not only Pitbull that is angling for Gervonta. There's Frank Martin who snubbed and turned down Shakur's offer thinking Tank Davis would provide him the fight.

And I don't think these guys will fight each other.

No one is asking for that fight . Davis is afraid to fight top opposition outside of PBC cuz then he will lose. Pitbull after Davis fight should have fought top fighters. Fighting C class fighters surely does not merit a rematch

EVERYBODY knows Cruz is far more dangerous than Shakur or Hamey. Well in “everybody” I mean “Tank”.
Hes got some catching up to do to equal the Charla’s in avoidance of REAL fighters.

135 is a stacked division. Put 'pitfall' in with Frank Martin, Keyshawn or Kambosos. If he wins THEN start talking about a rematch.

:Lost all interest in this guy - he only exists for Tank apparently.

He pops his head up again after De Los Santos took the Shakur fight - both Martin and Cruz somehow sidestep Shakur and Edwin.

There are like 4 ducked fights between them: Shakur-Cruz, Shakur-Martin, Cruz-De Los Santos, Martin-De Los Santos. Should have been easy and logical to make.

The two guys who want to fight each other are fighting - Shakur-Edwin
