And yet, he doesn't fight him there too. What a predicament. He didn't pick his rematch option and bivol offered the fight at 168, this is not about credit, it's about fear.

right lmao. like Canelo wouldn't want to have an advatage especially when bivol is draining himself and said he can make 168 no problem. The casual fan dosen't even know bivol. Canelo will get enough credit beating him at 168. Bivol said he can make 168 no problem.

The excuse is that if he beats Bivol at 168,he won't get his full credit, because people will claim bivol was "drained". This is nonsensical for 2 simple reasons.
          1. Bivol is the one calling for the fight at that weight. He already beat Canelo at 175,and now wishes to challenge himself and win all the belts at 168. He isn't a big light heavyweight, and has the same dimensions as Charlo,so if he thinks that he can make the weight, let him have the fight. He already beat Canelo,so he has the best claim at the moment.
          2. Canelo doesn't give 2 flying figs about what people think of him. He just dragged a dude up 2 weight classes, and he didn't care what people thought,or if they would give him his credit. Didn't care when it came to Khan either,or all the other catch weights. He does what he wants, when he wants and how he wants. His fans and casuals will defend him no matter what. Case in point, his fans treating him like the second coming of Jesus after beating a dude coming up 2 weight classes, after a long layoff.

If bivol beats Canelo at 168 and takes all his belts,Canelo will be left with absolutely no excuses as to why he lost, and his pride won't be able to handle the fact that he simply lost to a better fighter. At 175 Canelo has the built in excuse of it not being his weight class. Long story short, PRIDE won't let him take the fight at 168.

THAT'S WHAT I SAID BEFORE. and since when has canelo not wanted an advantage? He waited years to fight an old ggg instead of fighting ggg in his prime.

You're spot on. Canelo is afraid to lose his trinkets.

And he tried to drain the life out of Badou Jack. No one believes him when he's says he rejected the fight because he's worried about not getting full credit for a fight at 168.

On what planet is Bivol in a position to make offers? B side accepts the terms not makes them.
Bivol was offered the rematch at the same terms as the first fight. He turned it down.
Canelo wins at 168 they will say Bivol was weight drained.
Good luck to Bivol who is still struggling to secure his next fight despite his big win while Canelo just pulled another $50 million last night. Levels.
