yeah i know right. ever since he got drained by floyd, he knows the power of negotiations and the power of waiting/avoiding certain guys. he fought bivol instead of benavidez cause bivol wouldnt ko him. now that he realizes 175 is off limits hes going after teeny tiny men(charlo, ggg, other charlo) with fan bases like floyd/hatton floyd/ marquez etc...
Why won't canelo fight bivol at 168?

He wanted a little bit more money , that's all, which he deserved by the way. Joshua paid ruiz more money in their second fight, and picked up the option right away. The new fraud would have find a way not to fight him again, not a 168 nor 175.
On what planet is Bivol in a position to make offers? B side accepts the terms not makes them.
Bivol was offered the rematch at the same terms as the first fight. He turned it down.
Canelo wins at 168 they will say Bivol was weight drained.
Good luck to Bivol who is still struggling to secure his next fight despite his big win while Canelo just pulled another $50 million last night. Levels.Comment

If he were to somehow pull it off, the weight drain excuses would pour in.
the real question is why doesn’t Bivol want to fight Beterbiev or vise versa. Prettier cowardly if you ask me.Comment

its a bit odd that canelo wouldnt fight him at 168 if he was confident of the win
i think bivol should have taken the rematch at 175 after canelos refusal at 168, im not sure if canelo was insisting on the same money split for the rematch, he wanted bivol to put his belt on the line once again and as the loser of the fight fight bivol as the winner should get a little better financial deal imo, thats just a given, if i was bivol and putting my belt on the line again for canelo after beating him i would be a little pissed about the same split, if that is what was offered and stuck to but if thats all canelo was offering i think bivol still should have taken the 175 deal again, i really dont get the move to 168 for him at his age and not having fought there, bit baffling to me actuallyComment

Charlo was a career super welter, and had no business fighting at super middleweight. Fight still happened, and fans are still defending Canelo. Bivol wants the fight, and thinks he can make the weight. Why does Charlo get the fight, but not bivol?Comment
-
Because they don’t want to see Canelo get bludgeoned againComment

if bivol came to 168 and beat canelo i think that canelo and his fans would go into some type of melt down, i mean they are hanging on bivol being way too big for canelo first off, well if he came to 168 and beat him...........Comment

More money for what? No one cares to pay to see him fight. He’s struggling to find any opponent right now.
Leverage in negotiations is about who has options and Bivol has none right now.
As for AJ/Ruiz there’s 2 big other factors. Ruiz took AJ’s HW titles so he had incentive to get them back. And Ruiz being the first Mexican HW champ had value in interest in a rematch.
No one cares about Bivol and being Russian hurts him right now.Last edited by QballLobo; 10-01-2023, 05:49 PM.Comment

WBC is a ***ing joke and already came in and said that Bivol isnt allowed to fight Canelo for the 168 title, preventing him from becoming undisputed in 2 weight classes at once. Only 3 of the belts would be on the line. WBC did this to save their cash cow.Comment

i want to see beterbiv vs bivol but that rat *** arum won't make the right and suleiman won't sanction itComment
