You fail to understand a couple points. First height and body fat percentage. Every inch that you are higher you're likely to be about 7 lbs heavier. To give an example, A guy who is 5 7 147 lbs at 6 percent body fat just has less excess fat on him. 5 7 at 147 is the equivalent of 6 feet 190. Also a guy could be 180 lbs but have a very high body fat percentage. If he strips his fat off, he could be 150 lbs.I am not very high, something like Canelo. My weight was about 150 when I was 13 years old. It was about 170 when I was 17-18.
Now I am over 40, I am not fat and I am around 180. I would have to cut both legs of to make 154.
I don`t understand how grown men, bigger than me, "make" weight around 147 -160.
The smallest weight limit I could "make" would be a light heavy limit around 175.Comment

The average man has less than 160 lbs of muscle on their body if they got down to single digit body fat percentage. Most would be around 140-150 lbs.Because they're just small men.
I mean look at flyweights and bantamweights, they're grown men the size of a 13 year old girl
how many men do you see in public like that? Almost never. You could walk around all day and maybe see 1 or 2.
That's why it's probably very easy for flyweight to have success as a boxer, because there's so few adult men that size, so if you're that big and take up boxing, you'll probably become well known
How many sports cater for men the size of little girls? It's really boxing and horse racing.
It's much harder to have success as a fighter around 168 than is flyweights who are basically a tiny minority of midgets.Comment

Crawford walks around at 175+. He makes 147. Crawford would probably look bigger standing right next to you at his walk around weight considering he's all muscle.Comment

Man, I would be a half dead if I rehydrate to 150 or less.My most aggressive "healthy" cut puts me somewhere in the 175 range. Which means I could probably hit 168 if I really drained myself, MAYBE 160. And I'm taller than most fighters. But I walk around at about 185-ish and have a fairly controlled diet to begin with.
IF you're walking around at 180 and don't think you can make 170, there's something wrong.
Bone density, muscle mass and diet. If you're a shorter guy, it's quite normal to be in the 150-lb range if you take of yourself.

Canelo is as high as me, but he is about 10+ years younger. can he make 150?
