I meant they didn't make a big deal that they were even in negotiations, and Fury wasn't doing all the "you're only worth peanuts" and "OMG, I don't like the rematch clause that my own team added" stuff.

So what was this utter *hit from the Saudis for more than a year? Especially the last one - "the contracts are ready and will be with the fighters soon".

I don't believe both sides had any negotiations recently and that Usyk will fight not twice in a year, but twice in less than six months. Nor Fury should go into the ring after such a long pause, facing only Ngannou and Usyk two months later.
