Fury played this smartly as he should have. The Saudis are willing to pay serious money to both. It was just a matter of waiting until everything fell into place. What they would have made a year ago is peanuts to what he and Usyk will get now. That is called smart business acumen. Now Fury will make a MASSIVE pot of gold off of 2 fights
    Nganno and Usyk.
I WONDER how his haters and critics who were quite the Nasty lot spewing all kinds of vitriol the man's way, feel NOW?

Yes you did. And months ago, I said I would be sure to back you up if it did happen. You said it while every one else was burying Fury and calling for him to be stripped for his comments about wanting only big money fights and boxing was not at the top of those plans. You had me come around to at least not buying into Fury's flavor of the day. The man is just all over the map with his comments. You can never trust what is said out loud.

Glad you were right. Boxing is better off with the biggest match in the biggest division happening. I HATE it is in Saudi, but I am not going to let that stop me from watching it. In the immortal words of Val Kilmer's Doc Holiday in "Tombstone" after shooting Johnny Ringo: "My hypocrisy only goes so far". Forget real world politics, I want to watch this David VS. Goliath HW fight.

it’s a one trick diddycoy against a cruiserweight with good skill. Hardly Tyson Holyfield where both men had massive records.
      can’t believe the disbelief lol.
Tyson's biggest record by the time the holyfield fight happened was his criminal record for being a r.apist. He lost to the top level fighters he faced and was a mental midget.

This is a way better fight. Both of them would smoke those guys. The only guy from that era that would belong with these is Lewis. Holyfield possibly because he had heart.

People need to stop being overly sentimental about the past and guys like Mike Tyson who would mentally fold against guys he couldn't intimidate. He would've been taken into deep waters and drown by Fury. You're not beating Fury in a million years if you're the kind of guy that has mental weakness in the ring.

Also it shows how much you know. Actually the public thought Holyfield was a shot fighter before the Tyson and Holyfield first fight and gave him no chance, he had lost 2 of his last 4. which probably shows how far Tyson had actually fallen too when he got beat.

There is no fight date. Only announcement for 23rd December or early 2024 and yes, Usyk did announce on his social media.
My question is what about mandatory fight vs Hrgovic? Can Hrgovic involve and make them postpone because he is mandatory.

One moment? So this fights confirmed, just like it has been conformed before? Just like Wilder vs Joshua, Joshua vs Fury have all been confirmed.

There is no definitive date for the fight, and no more information on the fight deal.

The timing of this announcement has maybe been used to created more hype for Fury's recent exhibition 'Because its a terrible match up really, and nothing like Mcgregor vs Mayweather Junior which actually had a interesting in-depth story'.

Mayweather Junior was a retired fighter, Mcgregor was at his absolute peak 'The characters of both fighters also clashed, but at the same time complimented each other'.

Note: But it does look like the fight is moving towards getting made, but not 100% official as of yet etc.

juggernaut666 is blowing a gasket right now.

Fury is making money and just signed the most important fight at heavyweight. Meanwhile Joshua can’t seem to find his way into the ring against Wilder.

He wouldn't beat Fury because in his prime he was 50 pounds less and a nearly a foot shorter and he always struggled with tall long guys who grabbed him. Fury is much fitter and active than Tony Tucker and has better all around skills too.

No all of the big 4 bodies have rules that unification fights trump mandatories. All they can do is do an unrealistic mandatory after a unification fight and the champion would just vacate the belt after the unification fight.

Usyk retires after this fight win or lose and Fury will probably go into a fight with Zhang or AJ if he wins so I don't see "undisputed" status lasting long. It doesn't matter, we will have had our division defining fight.
