Not really, the WBO made the decision weeks after the Cinnabon and Charlo fight was already announced, but don't let the truth stop you from looking for something to bring him down about. Have at it.
Wiseman once said "never argue with ****** people. They will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience." If 1 + 1 = 4 and people want to believe it then there is nothing you can say to convince them that the truth is 1+1= 2.

He moved on from his mandatory. It's the same as forfeiting his belt.
A shot Harrison that had already been knocked out again after the Charlo fights. Tony got a good check and nice vacation in Australia for his trouble, but he hasn't been the same or relevant since Jermell shut off his lights.
Incorrect. Harrison had two twelve round decisions in between the second Harrison fight and the Tszyu fight.
Tszyu won his interim strap by knocking out Tony Harrison. The same Tony Harrison it took Charlo 23 rounds to stop.
Not really the. The same guy, not the same fighter. Then again tim has been waiting for his shot and has kept himself busy, unlike others that are keeping their spot without fighting. When it was time to face the aussie, he was recovering from the hand, I guess the $$$ his making cured his injured hand. By the way nothing wrong with been cured by a few millions
You can spin it any way you want, but he forfeited his belt. If he thought he was going to be able to keep it after deciding to move on from his mandatory, he was mistaken. They had already made an exception due to his injury. Not only did he move on from his mandatory, he is now fighting outside of his weight class. They were right to strip him. These are all facts. You don't even believe he will ever fight at 154 again. Why should he hold the division up? He moved on.
I 'm not spinning anything, the WBO didn't say anything about Charlo's belt being taken until weeks after the Cinnabon fight was announced. So, Charlo didn't forfeit anything, it was taken. I never said anything about him not fighting at 154 again. I said that I don't believe that he will fight Crawford because he won't give in to Bud's demands during negotiations like Spence did.
You're asking why he can hold up the division? The same reason that Cinnabon has held up every division on numerous occasions. Jermell doesn't come close to that type of treatment, but again, he's fighting Canelo, the one that does.
People need to stop associating Tzsyu with Charlo and vise versa. This fight is not going to happen, ever. Charlo simply don't like this fight. He never liked it from day one. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure it out.
I'd rather think of the possibility of Tzsyu/Mendoza winner vs Terence Crawford. But that's probably far from happening also as Bud's sights are on Charlo, who is expected to return probably a year after the Canelo stint is over.

So if a champion refuses to fight his mandatory, should he keep his belt? It's a yes or no question.

No not the same Tony Harrison, before the fight against Tim Tszyu Tony fought only 2 times in 3 year and made a split draw against a journeyman, safe to say he was past prime by far.
Concerning Charlo that say "paper champ"... it would be a terrible mistake to underestimate Tszyu, that guy is dangerous and if these 2 fight i could give 70/30% victory for Tszyu.
