I like showtime tho they kept boxing on their programming that’s big. Espn and showtime are the most important broadcasting networks around for boxing we need them

The Fooking Weasel was very talkative yesterday but still forgot to mention that SHO is leaving boxing at the end of the year.
Looks like Hearn and Arum were right.
btw, Haymon has already knocked on "DeadZone's" door. Fact!

Well done to pbc, they really are the best outfit in American boxing. However boxing has been a niche sport since the end of the 90s. Mayweather kept casual interest as did DLH, but it’s merely a niche sport in the usa. Americans have so many sports to choose from that the sport they can only see if they pay for it and most Americans can’t ethnically identify with it in the era of populism/nationalism, and boxers don’t officially represent cities like franchises do, boxing just doesn’t regularly produce the viewership numbers in the usa. I actually do believe showtime is bowing out because paramount is all about streaming series’ and tv shows that produce high numbers. I think pbc will either go to ESPN or dazn. If it’s ESPN, how long will they want to stay in the boxing game as long as boxers are demanding these unreal high purses? The “if the money is right” mentality is truly harming the sport. It’s merely an excuse to duck fights or demand ransom purses. On the flip side, if pbc goes to dazn as dazn should have approached Haymon in 201-7-2018 rather than with Eddie Hearn for American roll out, how long will boxing be popular in the usa again if all the fights are on the app no one has and then any decent fight is PPV again? The truth is this, boxing cannot survive in the usa unless it’s more available for sports fans to see, and what’s going to happen further is the lower tier producing fighters need to understand that what they get paid is a matter of supply and demand. If the people are demanding, there is no need to supply and if there is low demand for supply, lower your expectations of payjoseph5620
