I don't think it is reliable to compare Crawford to Canelo who was in his mid-twenties. Still, Canelo isn't exactly wrong, think the champs at 147-154 like Spence and Charlo are naturally bigger than fighters in the respective divisions, Crawford managed to cut to lightweight and at the high end of his career is still cutting at 147, so I would think no, he is just quite talented despite fighting subpar opposition until now.

That was a smaller canelo who was fighting at catchweights below 160 ibs. I believe it was 155 ibs. Canelo has grown wider and has thicker neck than what was showed in those pics.

It's not just about the weight Canelo been in the ring with fighters who punch way way harder than anything Crawford has faced.

Even a glancing or blocked shot Crawford will go into his shell I really hope this fight is not made it's suicide on Crawford part and Canelo gets no credit for the win.

Pictures don’t matter. What matters is what was their main fighting weight when they were about 20. Canelo’s was 154. Crawford was probably 130-135. That difference means something. Canelo will KILL HIM and he’s OLD.
Though if Crawford fought like a PURE boxer (aka Erislandy Lara). I could see him out pointing him. it’s not in Crawford to run.
