I have seen some of Johnson's fights on Youtube and he has a decent jab and good defence but thats about it, he reminds me a bit of Ola Afolabi but a bit less developed. I don't see how he can win as he seems to sit on the ropes to much. I think his best chance is to make Vitali miss a lot land a lot of jabs and hope he tires out and knock him out in the late rounds, but i would put my money on Vitali he should win this.

Nuff said. Kevin Johnson is a dead man walking, we' all know that.

I'm hoping that the folks at HBO will have the good sense to televise it, given the excellent ratings for Vitali-Arreola.

They wanted to show Diaz-Malignaggi on Dec 12, but that fight is now unlikely to happen.

          Vitali will destroy Johnson.
He will. I'm not a morbid kinda guy but I have a feeling this KO is gonna be absolutely hilarious.

vitali will have way more problems with johnson than arreola. and i see johnson being the only second other fighter to take vitali the distance. vitali will probably win with scores of 115-113 or 116-112.

IF it goes the distance, I think it'll be quite a bit more lopsided than that, but I agree that Vitali should have a bit more trouble putting leather on Johnson. If it does happen to go a full 12, I think Johnson will probably win 3 rounds, maybe 4 max.

I see in the poll someone has picked Kevin to win.

yawn. This fight does nothing for me. Vitali should stop him around the 8th round imo.

People should realize what Vitali is doing. There are no good contenders out there, so he is fighting every guy he can imagine could possibly rise up after he retires. I mean imagine if Marciano's last fight was against a very young Ali and he won. Doesnt matter if there was improvement, all people would know is Marciano was the greatest of all time. Or if Ali had beaten Holmes, maybe he wouldnt be viewed as the bum who got rocked and then cheated with smelling salt against 188 lbs Henry Cooper. I think Lewis' legacy would be much greater if he had one more fight with Vitali and actually beat him, rather than relying on a cut for the win. Vitali is setting a foundation for his legacy by fighting guys who will carry on the HW division 5-10 years after Vitali retires. Its a very smart move.
