well its a hobby for most - I did the videos one time and it takes a bit of time to put them up on this clunky website - doing the vids for 2/3 fights is ok, maybe 45 minutes - six fights means 24 videos to be uploaded and then what Tata does takes time and consistency - he gets up every Sunday first thing without fail, and likely spends an hour compiling and checking scores and double checking - cos guess what - get a score wrong and there's sure to be plenty griping going on - so three is manageable for everyone

He was dominating Lubin from the start and had him running scared. His lack of continued aggression emboldened Erikson and cost Ramos that fight, trash judging notwithstanding.

The judging sounds like it was way off - I haven't seen the fights yet - I'll rarely ruin my sleep to get up at 3.30/4am any more - did for Bud-Spence, and will do if we get Canelo-David. For once I can take a positive view of 5hitty judging

Some weeks the Wallin fight would be a shoe-in. Sometimes we get Joshua-Helenius or similar because there's not much else on. My gripe would be with the damn promoters - why is Hearn and the Gassiev fight promoter running fights the same weekend as a Canelo fight?

Edit - last year the Marius-Opetaia fight got left out - kind of oversight as everyone slept on Jai - and I for one raised the question why. So this time I said we can't leave him out again.

Another important criterion that gets looked at is the betting odds - all fights should have the underdog as no worse than +600 in the odds
The criteria is laid out at the beginning of the year and as I understood it 5-star BoxRec matchups between top 10 ranked fighters were supposed to always be included. And the odds were like +220 for Barrios.

If I misunderstood then that’s on me. Or if having four fights was deemed as too much then ok. But if not then I just wish we could stick to whatever rules get laid out at the beginning of a Pick ‘Em “season.”

I get what you're saying. I think not having a master thread this year hasn't helped matters as that's a thread where we can all voice an opinion about what fights should be included the following week.

But we can still discuss next weeks fights here.

As an aside, I'm amazed that BoxRec has the Barrios-Ugas fight as a 5* fight - like, huh? If Spence-Crawford and Charlo-canelo are 5 star how in God's name is Barrios-Ugas also a 5* fight? But then again, BoxRec now has Barrios at No.3 in their welterweight rankings above Ennis at No.4. In my humble opinion Ennis plasters Barrios all over the ring if they ever meet. And then something else - BoxRec has Josh Taylor at no.6 in the WW rankings. Again, huh?

Best thing is we have these discussions on a Monday or Tuesday before the weekend fights. I'm always up to discuss it and as I subscribe to these threads I always get a notification if someone posts an idea or whatever else.

Yeah, having a stickied Master Thread made things easier. To discuss things or to quickly check your number of multipliers etc.

You know, having seen the fight just once it was a highway robbery to me. Still, I noticed that Ramos didn't complain, and that his face was ruined at the end. So I'm now willing to watch it again and understand if we all missed Lubin's accurate punching as opposed to Ramos' volume... or if a fix was in

That Lubin win really broke my back - spinal. I was wondering where th are Baltimore and NCUppercut.
Also my goal was to be on the level of Koba, but not like that, not like that
