Fighter who are a lot shorter and have much shorter reach than the average for their weight class very rarely make it to the top, though - although some do. But having said that, 5'10" is not particularly short for a Super Middleweight really. It's the same height as Tyson! And Dwight Muhammad Qawi was an ATG Light Heavyweight, and he was only 5′ 5½! Abraham's a little shorter than the average for his weight class, but not by enough that it's likely to be a factor.
Abraham vs Taylor: Jermain Says "I Will Not Surrender"

That would be a fair comment if the judges and ref were German or Armenian, but AFAIK they will be international, and neutral - or do you know differently? If they are international and from neutral countries, which they certainly should be, and my understanding is that they will be, then no one can make any excuses about hometown decisions.Comment

well jermain needs to knock him out to get a draw, that much is obvious, its germany. I dont know how JT will fare against a smaller fighter, but i dont think he'll be working as hard as he had to against froch, so i dont think the stamina thing will be as much of a problem. I think it will be a close fight that gets scored far too widely in favor of Abraham, and americans will be outraged, but in truth the fight could have fairly gone either way. I dont think AA has the power to knock Jermain outComment

Jermain has the talent to win but is lacking in the endurance and chin department. Because of this I would expect Abraham to survive the first six rounds then while Taylor fights in spurts the last 6 to take him apart and either win a lop sided decision or a late round stoppage. Exhaustion has been Taylor's downfall in all his losses and I don't expect things to change in this fight. If Pavlik could pound him Abraham shouldn't have a problem really.Comment

I have a feeling that the scoring will be fair or at least close to being fair (if that makes sense) as possible. It’s a very big, international tournament. The last thing anyone wants is a controversial decision in the first fight because it might affect viewership in the subsequent fights.Comment

Thats is what i was thinking today, and know Taylor airs it
I don`t think Jermain is capable of knocking Artur out - Abraham is TOUGH!!! His guard is like a blank wall... And i don`t think he will get the decision in Germany, unless it will be a one-sided fight (and it won`t)...
I just think that after the Froch loss, he is highly motivated to make a comeback!Comment
