Fighter who are a lot shorter and have much shorter reach than the average for their weight class very rarely make it to the top, though - although some do. But having said that, 5'10" is not particularly short for a Super Middleweight really. It's the same height as Tyson! And Dwight Muhammad Qawi was an ATG Light Heavyweight, and he was only 5′ 5½! Abraham's a little shorter than the average for his weight class, but not by enough that it's likely to be a factor.

If it goes to decision. They're going to give it to AA regardless. But I think JT wins.

Judges don't necessarily have to be from the actual country to give a fighter a hometown decision. They very frequently are not. A lot of the worst cards come from judges with no affiliation to location or a fighter's country of origin. I think once the first set of fights is over we will know if neutral actually means anything. There is the issue with crowds swaying judges as well. If the judges are in fact neutral as you say, I pick Taylor to win by decision. From what I've seen in boxing, nothing is guaranteed, so I have difficulty believing the judges are guaranteed to be neutral.

well jermain needs to knock him out to get a draw, that much is obvious, its germany. I dont know how JT will fare against a smaller fighter, but i dont think he'll be working as hard as he had to against froch, so i dont think the stamina thing will be as much of a problem. I think it will be a close fight that gets scored far too widely in favor of Abraham, and americans will be outraged, but in truth the fight could have fairly gone either way. I dont think AA has the power to knock Jermain out

Jermain has the talent to win but is lacking in the endurance and chin department. Because of this I would expect Abraham to survive the first six rounds then while Taylor fights in spurts the last 6 to take him apart and either win a lop sided decision or a late round stoppage. Exhaustion has been Taylor's downfall in all his losses and I don't expect things to change in this fight. If Pavlik could pound him Abraham shouldn't have a problem really.

I have a feeling that the scoring will be fair or at least close to being fair (if that makes sense) as possible. It’s a very big, international tournament. The last thing anyone wants is a controversial decision in the first fight because it might affect viewership in the subsequent fights.

I'm rooting for JT...I really hope he pulls this one...doing so will help his confidence...not to mention his standing against others.

they dont seem to have any qualms about screwing fighters in world title fights, why should they care about the super 6?

Thats is what i was thinking today, and know Taylor airs it

I don`t think Jermain is capable of knocking Artur out - Abraham is TOUGH!!! His guard is like a blank wall... And i don`t think he will get the decision in Germany, unless it will be a one-sided fight (and it won`t)...

I just think that after the Froch loss, he is highly motivated to make a comeback!
