In the immortal words of Joe Frazier, Joe Joyce needs “a brain scam.”

his knee was still on the canvas at 9, that is almost always a KO, as it was tonight and as it was with Dubois a few weeks ago but the weird thing is, this story has nothing to do with that.Originally posted by MooshashiI somewhat agree with Joyce. He got up at 9, yes he was dazed and out of it, but the round had ended. Why not give him a minute for his corner to either revive him or throw in the towel. I think he was really hurt; I would hope his corner would have stopped the fight in the corner but certainly Zhang would have Bolivianized him the second he came out.Comment

Joyce was never going to beat Zhang. He has no defense, he’s slow and has no power. He beat some guys that he was in better shape then, that’s about it. He did worse in the rematch. I always called him a bum. He has over achieved because of how late he started boxing so that’s the only credit he deserves. And that isn’t terrible at all. But I knew that he would never make noise in the division.Comment
